GlobCom
Authentic learning for tomorrow’s communication professionals
Rather than rely on a a traditional 'pull' communication strategy, which requires students to seek out information, the Curtin team has initiated and implemented a digital media communication strategy, which ensures GlobCom participants receive timely updates and reminders "where they already are" (Tombleson, Wolf, Lydia, Archer, & Desai, 2016), i.e. predominantly on Facebook (via the program's dedicated Facebook page), supported by Instagram and Twitter. Dedicated alumni groups have been set up on Facebook and LinkedIn to provide a platform for a truly global community of international communicators that extends the GlobGom journey well beyond the campaign focus

See https://www.facebook.com/GlobComProject and https://www.instagram.com/projectglobcom/ for past and current social media updates.
