GlobCom has provided us with sheer limitless (traditional - print, radio & tv - and digital) media opportunities, which have helped us to raise the profile of Curtin's PR Major, our students and the GlobCom learning experience. Selected examples are included below:

Hosting the 2015 Symposium in Borneo provided us with even more, unique media opportunities, in particular within the region:

All major English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese newspapers in Malaysia reported on GlobCom pre and post the 2015 Symposium in Borneo. Find a collection of (international) clippings attached.

A representative of Al Jazeera attended the Symposium. coverage included a piece on the network's Arabic website, titled "Borneo forests pleading the students for protection":

Al Jazeera reporter Samer Allawi also ran an approx. 7 minute news feature on the Symposium (starting 9 minutes into the video):
